The FDR (Flat Die Rheometer) measures changes in torque that vary with rubber by oscillation and determines the vulcanization characteristics based on changes in the maximum component entered between the upper and lower dies of a flat plate at a specified temperature, subjected to sinusoidal torsional oscillation. FDR provides a corn drive designed to achieve accurate sinusoidal oscillations and a four-heater drive, achieving high accuracy and reproducibility of the test results.
